Maria has been working for UCCS off and on as a Chiropractic assistant since September 2020. Maria is very personal and has a bubbly personality and enjoys serving and taking care of established patients and all future new patients here at UCCS. She has been a patient herself for three years now and Upper Cervical care has changed her life tremendously. Maria states “Since being under care my migraines have reduced to once every couple of months compared to 2 times a week and my anxiety is basically nonexistent. I live by this type of care and hope we can take care of all the Upstate area one day.”

Maria is oldest of her three siblings, and originally born in Guanajuato, Mexico. She moved to Gaffney, South Carolina in 2000 at the age of two with her family. She is fluent in both Spanish and English and is a Gardner Webb University Alumna. She enjoys reading thriller books, listening to music, and traveling on the weekends. She enjoys her vacations trying new restaurants in different states and countries.
