With the change of seasons, we are undoubtedly putting different stress on our bodies again! It's time to clean up the yard, garden, trim the bushes, and so much more. We don't often consider what to do in order to prevent the effects (or damage) of this stress on our bodies! That's where I come in.
What a question? Can I simply answer it? Of course!
Chiropractic literally means to practice with hands. Chiropractors use their hands (and sometimes adjusting tools) to assist the body to heal naturally.
Heal from what? We all experience stress. I'm sure you can think of one person who is constantly stressed and typically... not well. As we experience physical stress (slips and falls), mental and emotional stress (work, finances), and chemical stress (toxins, pollutants)… and our bodies reach a point they cannot readily adapt to the stress, that stress affects our nervous system. Our rest and digest system (parasympathetic) or fight or flight system (sympathetic) is literally our nervous system.
